ERP integration

Definition

ERP integration connects operational software and AI agents to the system of record for orders, articles, customers, stock and accounting, so automation reads current data and writes results back into the books instead of into a parallel spreadsheet.

The ERP stays the system of record. Automation adds speed and judgement around it, and every posting remains traceable to its source document.

Scope and permissions are decided per object: what may be read, what may be created, what always requires human release.

In practice

  • ERP remains the single source of truth
  • Write access is scoped per object and per amount
  • Every automated posting stays auditable to its source
